Step 1. Security Checklist
The first step is to download this website from the github and open the index.html file directly on your computer.
Step 2. Generate a new address
Move your mouse or input text to generate a new address.
Step 3. Print out your paper wallet
Click the paper wallet tab and print the page on high quality setting. Never save as a file because it is far more likely to be hacked than a piece of paper.
Step 4. Fold your paper wallet
Fold your new paper wallet following the lines.
You can insert one side inside the other to lock the wallet.
Step 5. Share your public address
Use your Spacecoin address to receive coins.
Step 6. Keep your private key secret
The private key is the actual key to the coins. If someone was to obtain it, they would have full control of the coins.
Consider testing with a small amount before storing large amounts.
- Consider using a secure operating system guaranteed to be free of spyware and viruses, such as Ubuntu LiveCD.

We try to make it that way. The core of the tool, that generate the keys is 99% the same as the well reviewed bitaddress.org. We only changed it to be able to generate addresses for Spacecoin (SPACE).
Advantages of a paper wallet:
⇒ Wallet can be generated offline.
⇒ You don’t rely on a third party’s honesty or capacity to protect your coins
⇒ You will not lose coins if a device breaks
Once you have generated and printed a paper wallet, you can send coins to the address like you woukd any other wallet. Store your paper wallet securely. It contains everything that is needed to spend your funds.
Consider using BIP38 to secure your paper wallet with a password. Also download and then unplug your Internet access while generating your wallet.
You can import your private key into Space-OceanQT or any other Spacecoin wallet.
